Lead Mill Programmer Full Time / Mon-Fir 7:00-4:00, optional Sat's 7-12 Bristol Precision
  • Marlborough, MA Bristol Precision is a high-precision CNC shop serving aerospace, medical , and scientific customers in a fast-paced prototype and small-batch environment.
We are a small, collaborative team where craftsmanship, accountability, and mutual respect define how we operate. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Lead Mill Programmer who wants real influence over how work gets done. This role offers autonomy, technical challenge, and the ability to directly shape programming standards, machining strategy, and overall shop performance. You'll be trusted to sovle complex problems, build efficient processes, and help elevate the capability of the entire team. Key Responsibilites Program complex 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling jobs using Mastercam. Develop efficient machining strategies and optimize cycle times for high-mix, tight-tolerance work. Set up and validate first-piece parts as needed to ensure process accuracy and repeatability Create clearn,thorough setup documentation that enables machinists to succeed. Standarize programming methods and tooling strategies to improve consistency and flow. Collaborate with setup machinists on best practices and technical problem-solving. Specify material, tooling, and inspection requirements to support successful productions Qualifications 5 + years of CNC programming experience using Mastercam, including complete prototype builds from start to finish Strong familiarity wiht Haas controls Ability to inspect your own work to tight tolerances Solid understanding of GD& T Comfortable working hands-on in a small-company environment with minimal supervision Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a growth mindset What We Offer We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including: Health and Dental Insurance 4 weeks of paid time off plus 6 paid holidays Profit-sharing plan Company-funded retirement plan Short and long term disability Prescription safety glasses reimbursement Opportunities for continued training and advancement You'll work in a clean, well-lit, air conditioned facility with newer Haas mills (mini-mills through VF6SS), 4 and 5 axis capability, up to date Mastercam software, and state of the art inspection equipment.
