Job Description

ASSYST is seeking a Senior GIS Programmer to support the GIS modernization and integration efforts of our client in Towson, Maryland (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite 2 Days Remote). The role focuses on application development, ArcGIS Server environment support, legacy code modernization, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and upgrade ArcGIS Server web applications and web services. Support configuration efforts and web service integrations for Cityworks. Repair and upgrade legacy Facilities and utility toolsets written in Visual C# using Visual Studio 2010 (IDE) and the ArcObjects
SDK 10.1.
Conduct root-cause analysis on program and production issues. Design and generate operational reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience developing and modifying applications using C#, JavaScript, Python, HTML, .NET, and J2EE.
Esri Stack:
Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs (including JavaScript API), ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Mobile, and ModelBuilder.
Database & Querying:
Strong proficiency in SQL, triggers, stored procedures, and relational database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle preferred).
Reporting:
Hands-on experience developing reports using SSRS.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of background in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, or program analysis.
