Machining | Big Rapids, MI KMK Machining is a healthy, fast-growing precision machine shop looking to hire a highly skilled, motivated programmer. We invest in the machines, tooling, software, and processes needed to make work more efficient and to keep raising the bar on the parts we ship. In this role, you will program complex 3-axis and 5-axis parts to print from start to finish in hyperMILL, own the process the entire way, and work with QC to make sure parts are within spec. Responsibilities Program complex parts in hyperMILL from start to finish while continually improving the process to shorten cycle times Design the fixtures needed to complete parts accurately and efficiently Troubleshoot issues with geometry, tooling, or programming and correct them quickly Maintain clear records of programs, setups, tooling, and quality results Experience Proven CNC programming experience in hyperMILL Solid GD&T and blueprint reading skills Hands-on experience with tooling selection, CNC setup, and fixture design for precision metal work If you like challenging parts, can program in hyperMILL, and can design the workholding to make the parts with minimal help, we want to talk.
