3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday4 Day Work Week | Friday Overtime as Needed We are partnering with an exceptional, well established precision manufacturing client in the Port Huron area to hire an experienced Wire EDM Programmer. Position SummaryThe Wire EDM Programmer will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Wire EDM equipment to manufacture precision components and tooling to exact specifications. This position requires strong Wire EDM programming experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work with tight tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate Wire EDM machines for precision manufacturing applicationsDevelop and modify Wire EDM programs based on engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirementsRead and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, dimensions, and tolerancesDetermine appropriate machine settings, cutting strategies, offsets, and machining sequencesSet up workpieces, fixtures, tooling, and machine parametersPerform first piece inspections and verify completed parts meet dimensional and quality requirementsUse precision measuring equipment to inspect finished componentsTroubleshoot programming, setup, and machining issuesMake program and process adjustments to improve accuracy, quality, and efficiencyMaintain accurate production and inspection documentationWork closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing personnel to resolve technical issuesFollow established safety, quality, and manufacturing proceduresQualifications- REQUIREDPrevious Wire EDM programming, setup, and operating experienceStrong knowledge of Wire EDM machining principles and processesAbility to independently program and set up Wire EDM equipmentStrong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledgeExperience working with tight tolerance precision componentsProficiency with precision measuring equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently and effectively within a manufacturing team Why Consider This OpportunityStable, established manufacturing organizationExcellent working environment4 day work weekLong term career opportunityINDQT
