Job Description

Sheet metal Engineer Looking for motivated a individual to join our growing company. Responsible for programming and directing operation in Laser and brake press department. Programming daily production needs for two Mitsubishi ML30 lasers. Create instructions and blueprints for press brake operators to properly complete complex sheet metal bends. Job requires CAD modeling experience with soldi works or Fusion 360 to modify customer designs to correctly form parts. Typical shop orders range from high-volume orders to one-off prototype assemblies. Sheet Metal Engineer is responsible for all Programming, design, and determining what task and procedures will be required to complete entirety of order. These tasks include.
  • Programming laser with MetCam.
  • Program Cincinnati press brake with X form
  • Modify solid models using Solid Works.
  • Manage parts program archives.
  • Write detailed instructions required per dept to carry out operations.
  • Create bend note prints/work instructions press brake
  • Work with programming team to design and manufacture unique tooling and fixture required for operation.
  • Assist welding dept. technical questions requiring assembly.
  • Troubleshoot issue during production to meet scheduled delivery. Experience requirements
  • Associate's degree in applied sciences associated in manufacturing. Welding, Metal fabrication, or CNC programming preferred.
  • Three years' experience Solid Works or Fusion 360.
  • Three years' experience working in fabrication shop. Prerequisite
  • High school diploma
  • Pass drug screening
  • No felonies
