Role:

Sefi Fabricators is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Programmer/Draftsman to join our team in Amityville, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical programming skills with precision drafting in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Responsibilities:

Develop and write CNC or CAD/CAM programs for manufacturing and fabrication processes Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using AutoCad Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability Review and interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and project requirements Modify and update existing programs and drawings as project needs evolve Perform quality checks on programs and drafts to ensure compliance with standards Maintain organized documentation of programs, drawings, and revisions Speak with Customers about their project needs

Requirements:

Experience in CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, or technical drafting Proficiency with drafting software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar platforms Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and accuracy Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production environment Be familiar with properties of stainless steel
