Job Description

Salary :
Base pay starting at $21.00 per hour based on experience ($3.00 per hour shift premium when moved to 3rd shift)
Shift:
This opening is for a 3rd shift position Sunday-Thursday 9:30pm
  • 6am. Training will take place on 1st shift Monday
  • Friday 6am
  • 2:30pm.
Once training is complete the employee will move to 3rd shift and receive the shift premium of $3.00/hour
Summary:
Write, edit, and troubleshoot programs for assigned robotic welding machinery, using computer software for programming and other department support. Ensure weldments meet Rosenboom weld specification

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Write robotic weld programs that meet the quality specifications of customers and Rosenboom while maintaining minimum weld cycle time. Inspect, measure, and/or test completed weldments and supporting materials, to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring and testing devices. Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as gas metal arc welding and gas tungsten arc welding equipment. Productive member of his/her workgroup and adheres to all Rosenboom polices, including safety requirements/procedures especially working with robotic equipment, to ensure a safe working environment for all Rosenboom employees. Work in a production setting to facilitate the needs of Rosenboom's production goals. Maintain preventive maintenance (PM) program for all weld related equipment. Maintain a 5S program for equipment and tools in the Weld Support Department.
Specific training/certification:
Relative experience and/or training required Holds or has the ability to obtain hand weld and robotic welding RMT specific certifications
Skills:
Interpret of mechanical drawings, and blue prints Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
