Mastercam Programmer - $38-$43/hour

We are seeking a skilled Programmer to join our team. As a Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software programs that meet the needs of our organization. An employee in this classification may perform any of the following duties. However, these examples do not include all the specific tasks which an employee in this classification may be expected to perform.

Responsibilities:

Creates CAM programs for CNC Mill composite material, SST, Aluminum, titanium and plastics. Works closely with the CNC Mill Operator to ensure that specific requirements are met when job involves a non-standard milling procedure. Monitors CAM process to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality in design process, correcting any problems as they arise. Transports or transfers fixtures and/or printed circuit boards to designated location.

Secondary Functions:

Performs some CAD operations in conjunction with CAM programming. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma and 5-7 years of experience with CAM and/or 2+ years of related machine experience, or any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job. Prefer some previous experience with CAD. Experience with AutoCAD and MasterCam or similar CAM programis a huge plus. Ability to read blueprints, underand machine codes and errors, and Knowledge of principles, practices and methodologies as related to CAM Programming, CAD, and machining. Knowledge of and ability to effectively use Windows, Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively. and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
