Duties Prepare and deliver comprehensive lessons on personal computer skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, R, C++, Java, React, Node.js, and React Express. Develop engaging curriculum plans that incorporate practical exercises using Blackboard and other learning management systems. Facilitate classroom sessions that enhance students' understanding of web development, programming languages, and software tools. Assess learners' progress through quizzes, projects, and practical assignments; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Incorporate adult education best practices to ensure lessons are accessible and tailored to diverse learning needs. Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and curiosity about technology topics. Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching strategies and integrate new technological tools into the curriculum. Experience Proven classroom experience or training in teaching computer skills or related subjects. Strong knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and React Express. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, Java, C++, and C++. Experience using Blackboard or similar learning management systems for course delivery and student engagement. Background in adult education or training environments is highly desirable. Ability to design lesson plans that effectively teach technical concepts to learners with varying levels of prior knowledge.
