Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The CNC programmer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and editing programs for milling, turning, and multitasking machines (2-5 axis). The successful candidate will be hands on, possess knowledge of various HSM and HPM milling techniques, have an in-depth background of tool and speed/feed selection, and be committed to the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and trust. Programmer will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to stay on the edge of new technology and manufacturing strategies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school education with training and experience in machine shop practices and techniques. The ability to handle diversified work assignments that may require independent thinking and judgment. Ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of metric system and computer (CNC) skills. Qualified applicants need to have some experience with CNC programming of machine tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Opus, GibbsCAM, Esprit, NX, or similar software.

$30.00 - $38.00 per hour
