Full Job Description Overview:
Foxlink Group is a multinational company headquartered in Taiwan, with manufacturing facilities across various Asian countries. Foxlink is expanding its business by launching a new manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Foxlink Texas Inc. will produce SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) electronic products. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, precision-engineered electronic components that power the future of technology. As we build our operations from the ground up, we are seeking skilled and proactive SMT Technicians for multiple openings, including Repair Technician, Programmer Technician (AOI/SPI), and Equipment Technician to support the reliability, efficiency, and quality of our manufacturing operations. Candidates will be considered for the position that best matches their skills, experience, and technical background. These roles play a critical part in supporting SMT production through PCB troubleshooting, inspection programming, equipment maintenance, and process improvement activities to achieve production goals and maintain high quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
Reapir Technician Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair failed PCB assemblies and electronic products to restore functionality and meet quality standards. Perform component-level troubleshooting using electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and electronic test equipment. Replace defective components using soldering, desoldering, and rework techniques in accordance with IPC and company quality standards. Analyze product failures, perform root cause analysis, and document repair findings to support corrective and preventive actions. Conduct functional testing and verification after repair to ensure products meet quality, performance, and reliability requirements before release. Programmer Technician (AOI/SPI) Create, develop, and maintain AOI and SPI inspection programs to support new product introduction (NPI) and mass production. Optimize inspection parameters to minimize false calls while maintaining high defect detection accuracy and process efficiency. Validate, test, and release AOI and SPI inspection programs prior to production, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve AOI/SPI programming issues, working closely with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support production. Verify AOI/SPI machine calibration and program performance to ensure consistent inspection accuracy and equipment reliability. Equipment Technician Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on SMT production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, equipment adjustments, and inspection results in maintenance logs and reports. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S standards while monitoring and managing spare parts inventory. Monitor SMT production equipment to ensure accurate component placement and stable manufacturing operations, making machine adjustments as needed. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering, and Production teams to resolve equipment issues, improve equipment reliability, and achieve production, quality, and efficiency goals.Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
2 to 5+ years of proven, hands-on experience maintaining, calibrating, and repairing SMT production machinery in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.Core Competencies:
Deep understanding of 5S workplace organization methodologies. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment specifications. Strong attention to detail regarding both machine accuracy and administrative documentation. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to work assigned shifts.Benefits:
