Laser Programmer Pay:

• 33/HR Turn blueprints into precision-built results. We're looking for an experienced Laser Programmer who can develop and optimize machine programs, maximize material efficiency, and support production in a fast-paced sheet metal fabrication environment. Responsibilities
• Create, test, and manage programs for laser cutting machines using CAM software
• Review engineering drawings, job packets, and material specifications for accuracy
• Optimize nesting layouts to maximize material utilization and reduce waste
• Collaborate with machine operators to troubleshoot programming issues and improve performance
• Maintain organized program libraries and revision records
• Communicate with production, engineering, and planning teams to keep projects on schedule
• Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures Qualifications
• Experience programming laser cutting machines in a sheet metal fabrication environment
• Proficiency with CAM software; Amada VPSS, BySoft, or similar platforms preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Strong computer and file management skills
• Working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
