Job Description

Job Title:
CNC Programmer - Mastercam & SOLIDWORKS (Mills, Lathes & Routers)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with experience in Mastercam and
SOLIDWORKS
to create, optimize, and support CNC machining programs for mills, lathes, and CNC routers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and blueprint interpretation, with the ability to produce high-quality parts efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and
SOLIDWORKS.
Program and set up CNC mills, lathes, and routers for production. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models. Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies. Troubleshoot and improve existing CNC programs to increase productivity and reduce cycle times. Verify program accuracy through simulations and test runs. Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams to ensure quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances. Maintain program documentation and revision records. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of CNC programming experience. Proficiency in Mastercam and
SOLIDWORKS.
Experience programming CNC mills, lathes, and routers. Strong knowledge of G-code, machining practices, and cutting tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T. Experience with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-axis CNC machining. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Experience in precision manufacturing environments.
