TEMPORARY PROMOTION

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have least one (1) year of specialized experience the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems th equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to successfully perform the duties of the position, and th is typically in or reled to the position to be filled. Examples of specialized experience include mastery of advanced management and organizional principles and practices for a variety of Air Force missions; and a comprehensive knowledge of stregy, concepts, requirements, acquisition, planning, programming, and budgeting regulions, guidelines, and processes; skill in analyzing and comparing cost benefits, cost projections, budgetary trade-offs, fiscal stregies, and programmic factors to produce fully justified options th can be presented to higher levels of management for use in defending fiscal decisions; and knowledge of the various command entities involved in overall planning and execution of operions and evaluions.

POSITIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
(KSAs): Your qualificions evalued on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the Joint Capabilities Integrion and Development System (JCIDS), Defense Acquisition System (DAS), and the Department of Defense Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) and policy, procedures, and schedules for developing Program Objective Memoranda (POM), Budget Estime Submissions (BES) and Financial Plans in support of major war, mobilizion, and other contingency and operional plans as well as methods for developing budget forecasts, cost projections, financial exhibits, unfunded requirements justificions, POM narrives, offsets and disconnects, reclamas, and issue papers. 2. Knowledge of military service program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of key operional events and milestones, and methods of evaluing the effectiveness of planning actions as reled to actual events. 3. Knowledge of the relionship of the various military entities involved in overall planning and execution of military operions and evaluions and the methods in which JCIDS, Acquisition, and the PPBES processes support them. 4. Knowledge of a wide range of qualitive and/or quantitive methods for the assessment and improvement of command level plans and programs for conducting major operions such as Space Situional Awareness & Command and Control; Space Protection; Space Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance; Missile Warning/Defense;
