Environmental and Failure Analysis Testing Support Computer Programmer IV should provide Technical Support for the Environmental and Failure Analysis Testing Support Division (Code 224). ETL Computer Aided Test Tracking System (CATTS)
Database Operation, Administration, and Maintenance:
Maintain, update and administer CATTS database using the current Government prescribed version of Microsoft Access for the GUI front end and the current Government prescribed version of SQL Server for the back end. Estimate 1 database update per week Provide analysis, perform upgrades, and collect, identify, validate, and update related data; distribute system- generated reports. Estimate 1 analysis and upgrade process per week Operate and maintain technical, management, logistic systems, or software to analyze and justify the feasibility of automating established applications and improved process flow. Estimate 1 operational/maintenance action per day. Analyze, design, develop, debug, and test software to establish a complete operational system and improve production workflow. Estimate 1 technical action per day Maintain CATTS user forms and automated procedures in accordance with current accepted business practices; as needed. Maintain a backup CATTS database on an automated server. Estimate 1 database backup per day. Maintain the existing Computer Aided Status (CAS) historical database as a read only file on the server; as needed. Update CATTS user manual to reflect current database procedures for all users of the system; as needed. Provide CATTS database user assistance and training; as needed. Requirements
Education:
Desired Associate's Degree and two years of experience in related field.

Experience with MS. Net (VB) C++ Java Script Familiarity Heavy Weight and Lightweight Torpedo components Microsoft SQL Server MS Access and XML Proficiency with MS SQL Server MS Access including XML Proficiency with MS Word MS Excel Adobe Professional Working knowledge of MS Power Point
