Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a GNC Engineer 2 for a contract opportunity in Chandler, AZ.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

(REQUIRED

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

): o Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience. o Must have existing U.S. Government security clearance at Secret or Top Secret. o Exposure to C++, Python, and development in a Linux environment o

MATLAB. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

o You will contribute to the development and evaluation of guidance, navigation, and control systems for advanced aerospace applications, including aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and launch vehicles. o Your work will involve applying mathematical models, control theories, and algorithm development to achieve precision in navigation and control performance. o You will also play a key role in analyzing system behavior, designing solutions, and integrating hardware and software components to ensure system reliability and mission success. o Design, develop, implement, verify, and test high-quality software and simulation toolchains o Work on a 6 degree of freedom (6DOF) simulation to design and test flight code o Optimize flight software and simulation software o Work with various trajectory optimization software and tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

(DESIRED

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

): o Master's or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline. o Control systems theory and guidance law design o Competence in C++, Python, Jira, and development in a Linux environment

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree is required. School must be accredited.

HOURS:

9/80 workweek. On-site.
