Core Responsibilities As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will help keep our banking systems reliable, secure, and available for employees and customers. This role exists to design, maintain, and improve core infrastructure services while supporting operational continuity.
Key responsibilities include:
. Installation and support for infrastructure supported OS, software, and firmware on end user, server, hypervisor, and cloud platforms. Device management (imaging, patch management, lifecycle).Administration and support for network, server, and desktop environments. Administer Virtual, SAN and Cloud environments. Provide day-to-day configuration, operations, and maintenance of enterprise systems. Develop and maintain system documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures used to manage product baselines.
Required qualifications/skills:
Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Subnetting, Routing, SAN/NAS storage, and hybrid networking topologies (Cloud Interconnect/VPNs). Familiar with device configuration and troubleshooting, including using command lines, powershell, bash, packet captures, and similar tools for troubleshooting. Hands-on experience building, provisioning, and maintaining IaaS environments on Google. Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM), AWS, or Azure. Familiar with DNS and DHCP configuration and troubleshooting. Basic familiarity with at least one interpreted programming language (such as
PERL, VBS, PHP
). Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree or minimum of 4 years equivalence in progressively responsible industry experience. Cisco router, switches, server administration, cloud administration or firewall courses or equivalent training or experience. Preferred licenses, certifications or registrations: VMWare-DCV, Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Architect.
