This is a broad technical role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working directly with employees, and taking projects from idea through implementation. You will help keep our systems running reliably while finding better ways to use technology across the company. We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable doing tasks such as troubleshooting a laptop, administering Microsoft 365, fixing a conference room AV issue, supporting surveillance cameras, and implementing a new AI tool that makes employees more productive. Beyond keeping our systems running, you will help shape and execute GST's internal technology vision-advancing AI initiatives, improving workplace technology, and turning new ideas into practical solutions employees can use. What You'll Do Administer our Microsoft environment: Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.
Support employees:
Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, applications, email, printers, connectivity, and other day-to-day technology issues.
Manage users and devices:
Handle account setup, permissions, onboarding and offboarding, device configuration, software deployment, updates, and endpoint management.
Keep meeting spaces working:
Configure and troubleshoot conference room AV, cameras, microphones, displays, and Teams meeting systems.
Support surveillance camera systems:
Maintain and troubleshoot security cameras, recording systems, monitoring software, and related network connections. Recommend improvements to coverage, reliability, and usability.
Maintain reliable infrastructure:
Support networking, Wi-Fi, servers, backups, and related systems, coordinating with other technical resources as needed.
Strengthen security:
Maintain access controls, multifactor authentication, endpoint protection, and other security practices.
Improve how GST uses technology:
Expand adoption of tools such as Teams and SharePoint, simplify workflows, and automate repetitive tasks. Drive a vision for new technology: Identify opportunities to improve how GST operates, recommend practical solutions, and turn ideas into working systems. Proactively bring forward improvements and help establish technology priorities.
Advance AI initiatives:
Work with departments to identify useful AI applications, evaluate and pilot tools, and implement solutions that improve productivity, access to information, and everyday workflows.
Support internal AI tools:
Collaborate with internal teams to improve and expand AI assistants, knowledge tools, and automation while following company security and data-handling requirements.
Help employees adopt new tools:
Provide demonstrations, training, and ongoing support so employees can confidently use new technology.
Own projects through completion:
Identify needs, recommend solutions, implement changes, document configurations, and evaluate results.
Work with vendors:
Coordinate troubleshooting, licensing, equipment purchases, and outside support when needed. What We're Looking For Five or more years of relevant experience in IT systems administration, systems engineering, or senior technical support. Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and supporting a Windows business environment. Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, email administration, and user access management. Solid troubleshooting skills across endpoints, applications, networking, and AV equipment. Ability to prioritize daily support needs while making steady progress on improvement projects. Clear communication skills and a patient, service-oriented approach to supporting employees. A track record of independently implementing solutions and following through. Curiosity about new technology, paired with sound judgment about what will help the business. Preferred Experience Microsoft Intune and endpoint management. Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration tool adoption. Conference room AV and Microsoft Teams Rooms. IP surveillance cameras and video management systems. PowerShell, Power Automate, or other scripting and automation tools. Implementing AI tools, internal assistants, or workflow automation.
