Full-Time Req #: 77862 Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Outpatient Imaging to join a leading healthcare organization in Chico, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Technologist ready to take the next step into imaging leadership. What You'll Do- Support daily imaging operations, staffing, productivity, and budget goals
- Supervise Lead and Senior Technologists and support technical imaging staff
- Promote staff development, employee satisfaction, and quality patient care
- Monitor image quality and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Support performance improvement and regulatory standards
- Coordinate imaging services with other hospital departments
- Serve as a resource for patients, physicians, staff, and other departments
- Help resolve operational and interdepartmental issues
- Maintain clinical and technical competencies
- Support patient-centered care and best practices Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technologist in an acute-care setting
- 2 years of supervisory experience in an acute-care setting
- 3-5 years of prior supervisory/management experience preferred
- Associate Degree preferred
- Current California CRT or ARRT certification
- Current CPR certification
- Specialized imaging certification preferred What We're Looking For
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to motivate, delegate, and lead imaging teams
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, Title 17 & 22, and ACR compliance
- Strong understanding of radiographic procedures, positioning, radiation safety, quality assurance, and patient care
