Job Summary The Engineer/Technical Support role provides frontline and back-end technical support for installed machines, ensuring reliable operation throughout their lifecycle. The position is responsible for managing service cases, verifying warranty and installation details, diagnosing technical issues, and delivering effective solutions through remote support, parts coordination, and service planning. Acting as a key link between customers, dealers, service engineers, and the factory, this role supports troubleshooting, documentation, warranty validation, and continuous improvement of technical procedures to maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction. Duties Maintain machine, customer, and service case records in the service database. Log, track, and follow up on service cases, emails, and calls. Verify warranty status, installation dates, and service responsibility. Diagnose machine and production equipment issues. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Use diagnostic tools, including multimeters and infrared scanners. Identify required spare parts, check inventory, and coordinate with the factory for undocumented items. Determine need for on-site service and estimate labor and time requirements. Interpret PLC programs, electrical schematics, and operation manuals. Respond to technical support inquiries and provide solutions. Write, update, and translate service procedures and documentation. Requirement /
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma required Engineering or technical background (mechanical, electrical, or related field). Experience with CNC machines or CNC systems (preferred). Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. Fluent in English. Proficiency in Chinese is a plus. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Must be willing and able to travel for on-site installation, troubleshooting, and service support.
