Entry-Level IT Support Specialist (Full-Time)
Location:
Jagalchi Daly City We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to support daily technical operations across our retail and restaurant locations. This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, learns quickly, and is comfortable troubleshooting both software and basic hardware issues in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview The IT Support Specialist will assist in maintaining day-to-day technical operations, supporting store systems, and ensuring minimal downtime across POS systems, networks, and operational tools. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, responsiveness, and a proactive mindset . Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support for POS systems, computers, printers, and mobile devices Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, routers, basic configurations) Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of store systems and software platforms Support installation and configuration of new hardware and equipment Respond quickly to technical issues to minimize operational disruptions Coordinate with external vendors or service providers when needed Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and system updates Assist with system rollouts, upgrades, and technology implementations across locations Support basic security practices (user access, password resets, system access control) Additional Responsibilities (Operations Support) Assist with troubleshooting and coordinating repairs for commercial equipment and appliances (e.g., POS terminals, kitchen display systems, basic electrical or connectivity issues) Work closely with operations teams to ensure all equipment is functioning properly Help identify recurring technical or equipment issues and recommend solutions Qualifications Basic knowledge of IT systems, networking, and troubleshooting (formal education or hands-on experience) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly on the job Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to issues in a timely manner Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical staff Highly organized and detail-oriented Preferred (Not Required) Experience with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Square, Clover, or similar) Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar tools Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, routers, Wi-Fi troubleshooting) Requirements Ability to travel between store locations as needed Availability to support occasional evenings or weekends if urgent issues arise Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and handle equipment setup Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Opportunity for growth into more advanced IT or operations roles Hands-on experience across multi-location business operations Why Join Us?
