Role:
Tellus Power Green is looking for a driven and hands-on EV Field Support Technician to join our growing team in Laguna Hills, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to be on the front lines of the clean energy revolution, supporting cutting-edge electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot EV charging stations and related electrical infrastructure Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs on Level 2 and DC Fast Charging (DCFC) equipment Conduct routine preventive maintenance inspections and system performance checks Coordinate with network operations teams to resolve connectivity and software-related issues Document service activities, site conditions, and equipment status using field service management tools Communicate professionally with site hosts, property managers, and customers during field visits Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes, safety standards, and company protocols
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in electrical, EV charging, or related field service technician role Familiarity with Level 2 EVSE and DC Fast Charger systems (ChargePoint, ABB, BTC Power, or similar) Working knowledge of electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, and network communications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — travel to job sites required OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred; EV-specific certifications a plus Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
