$21-$25 per hourEmployment Type:
Part-Time Schedule:
3-5 days per week, Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. (3.5 - 6.5 hours per day) Overview We're hiring Teacher Aides to support K-12 students with disabilities in public and charter schools in Orange County. You'll work directly with students in classrooms 1:1 and in small groups helping them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Provide individualized support to students with special education needs. Assist teachers with classroom management and activities. Use positive reinforcement and structured behavior management. Must Have Requirements At least 3 months of experience working or volunteering with children Strong communication, patience, and positive reinforcement skills. Ability to adapt to varying student needs and maintain composure under pressure. High school diploma or equivalent (education students encouraged to apply). CPR/First Aid certification (provided if needed). Must be 18 years or older Nice to Have Students pursuing Education / Child development / Psychology coursework or degrees encouraged to apply Experience in after-school programs, summer camps, tutoring, or youth mentoring Bilingual communication skillsBenefits Sick and Safe Leave:
