Job Description
This role will troubleshoot complete PC systems and CORSAIR products, including hardware, software, installation, compatibility, firmware, and performance issues. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and troubleshooting desktop computers and can clearly explain technical solutions to customers. Responsibilities Provide technical support through inbound phone calls and live chat. Troubleshoot PC components, including memory, power supplies, cooling systems, storage, motherboards, processors, graphics cards, cases, fans, and peripherals. Assist with Windows, BIOS settings, drivers, firmware, device detection, and CORSAIR software. Guide customers through installation, configuration, compatibility, and troubleshooting steps. Identify defective products and assist with warranty or replacement processes. Accurately document customer interactions and troubleshooting performed. Escalate complex or unresolved issues when necessary. Maintain strong productivity, documentation, and customer satisfaction results. Required Skills Hands-on experience building, upgrading, or repairing desktop computers. Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows, drivers, BIOS or UEFI, and common diagnostic procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers of all experience levels. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain patient and professional during difficult customer interactions. Ability to work on-site in Milpitas, California. Preferred Qualifications Previous technical support, help desk, computer repair, or customer service experience. Familiarity with CORSAIR hardware and software. Experience supporting customers through phone, chat, or ticketing systems. Experience using Oracle or similar customer service and order-management systems is a plus.
