Full Job Description Job Summary:

In this role, you will ensure the optimal performance of our printing equipment, contributing to efficient production and maintaining high standards of quality. Your expertise will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of printers to support our organizational goals.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers. Repair and maintain printer hardware. Respond to customer inquiries related to printer issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot printer related problems. Provide technical support and guidance to customers. Perform firmware and software upgrades on printers. Monitor and manage printer queues. Configure network settings on printers. Assist with printer setup, installation, and configuration. Assist with the implementation of new printer technologies. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and products. Recommend cost-effective solutions for printer-related problems. Manage inventory of printer supplies and order replacements as needed.

Job Requirements:

2+ years of experience in printer maintenance or a related technical field. Strong understanding of the printer's mechanical components, including label path, print heads, and potentially belts or gears. Knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting and repair. Ability to communicate effectively with customers. Understanding of printer systems and concepts. Ability to install, configure and maintain printer systems. Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Familiarity with networking protocols and equipment. Knowledge of printer drivers, software, and firmware. Ability to troubleshoot and repair both wired and wireless printer networks.

Pay:

$27.00 - $31.50 per hour
