IT Support Specialist Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and dependable IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in IT support. Is capable of handling L1 support requests (receiving and resolving common issues) as well as part of L2 support (addressing more advanced technical issues) and must be able to resolve approximately 80-90% of support tickets. Provide dependable, hands-on technology support for the Oxnard manufacturing facility, maintain local IT operations, and partner with corporate IT and external vendors to keep employees, infrastructure, and business systems secure and productive. This position also supports the evaluation and implementation of digital tools, AI technologies, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. The role collaborates with internal users, external IT vendors, and the IT team in Vietnam to maintain reliable systems and support technology adoption across the organization. End-User Support
  • Provide first- and second-level technical support for employees at the site.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and related peripherals.
  • Support Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Manage routine user access requests, password support, onboarding, transfers, and offboarding in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Document incidents, requests, resolutions, and recurring issues in the designated service management system. Infrastructure & Network Support
  • Monitor and support local network connectivity, switches, wireless access points, Internet services, and related site infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and device connectivity issues; escalate complex incidents to corporate IT or service providers.
  • Coordinate on-site work with external vendors and corporate technology teams.
  • Maintain an orderly, secure server room and accurate records of local infrastructure and equipment. Microsoft 365 & Identity Support
  • Provide operational support for Microsoft 365 services and collaboration tools.
  • Assist with user accounts, groups, licenses, and access permissions as authorized.
  • Support endpoint enrollment, security controls, and compliance configurations under corporate IT direction. Key Responsibilities (continued)Manufacturing & Business Application Support
  • Provide front-line support for approved ERP, CRM, and manufacturing-related applications used at the site.
  • Assist users with application access and basic functional or connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Gather diagnostic information and coordinate escalation to application owners or vendors.
  • Help minimize business disruption by communicating incident status, workarounds, and recovery progress. IT Operations, Security & Compliance
  • Follow company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, change controls, and data protection requirements.
  • Support endpoint protection, patching, vulnerability remediation, backup checks, and approved security initiatives.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, assignment records, warranty information, and disposal documentation.
  • Contribute to business continuity, disaster recovery, audit readiness, and technology improvement activities.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements to service quality and site resilience. Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, desktop support, or a comparable role.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, identity and access administration, TCP/IP networking, printers, and endpoint support.
  • Ability to diagnose issues systematically, document work accurately, and manage competing priorities.
  • Professional English communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in Oxnard, California. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, endpoint management, or IT service management tools.
  • Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP and to CRM or manufacturing applications.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent certifications.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity controls, IT asset management, and audit support.
ADA/FEHA REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties, the employee is exposed to computer terminals. Requires stooping, squatting, standing and sitting for various lengths of time. As needed, the employee will travel between warehouse locations in Oxnard, CA to support staff. The employee will be exposed to other work environments and outside elements. May require walking in a warehouse environment, climbing stairs, turning, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping. May require wearing protective safety clothing/ear plugs/ head protection/hand protection. The noise factor is that of machines running in a warehouse environment. The vision requirements include satisfactory close vision, distant vision, computer vision. Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
