55 For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States. NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Bureau of Reclamation (USBR). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, and technical support to the Bureau of Reclamation through the Experienced Services Program (ESP). Positions listed here do not guarantee employment for any definite period. Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee.
PLEASE NOTE
An ?Enrollee? is not a federal employee, nor an employee of NEW Solutions. An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions. This position has been funded for 30 weeks of work and is on-site. This opportunity applies to applicants legally eligible to work in the United States.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 year(s) of experience in Cybersecurity and System Administration
OR BA/BS
Degree in Information Systems and Electronics with minimum additional experience of 10 year(s) in Information Technology, System Administration, Cyber Security Experience with Industrial Control Systems. Use tools like GE iFIX, Dameware, Check Point, Dameware, Lansweeper, Netwrix Change Tracker Experience required with
Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook Duties:
Support the California Great Basin Region, Central Valley Operations Office as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist by providing expertise in cybersecurity operations, NERC-CIP and FISMA compliance, system administration, and secure technology implementation. Communicate cybersecurity risks, progress, and improvements to management and decision-makers as needed. Cybersecurity - Implementing security controls, NERC-CIP/FISMA compliance, vulnerability management, security testing, and risk reduction. 50% System Administration - Building and configuring workstations, troubleshooting systems, installing software, and resolving technical issues. 40% Meeting and Collaboration - Participating in coordination meetings, providing cybersecurity guidance, and communicating findings to leadership. 10%
Other:
Any required training designated by the Bureau of Reclamation; e.g., Annual Role-Based Security Awareness training and
NERC-CIP
Security Training for initial and on an annual basis.
Required Certifications:
CISSP, CRISC, and CASP+

First Ai, CPR, AED, Blood Borne Pathogens Required Safety Gear:
Individual will have to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as governed by the location he visits; i.e. steels toe boots, eyewear, hardhat, etc.
