Desktop Support Engineer Location:
San Francisco, California (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced technical professional to ensure reliable audio-visual services and support for conference rooms, client meetings, and collaboration spaces. Our team values proactive problem-solving and clear communication to uphold high standards across enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
Deliver daily operational support for conference rooms, Zoom Rooms, and studio environments, including incident troubleshooting and system maintenance. Manage and resolve A/V incidents and service requests through IT Service Management tools, maintaining detailed ticket documentation and proactively escalating when needed. Package, test, and deploy Zoom client applications across Windows and macOS platforms, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure seamless releases and compatibility. Execute preventative maintenance, firmware updates, asset tracking, and assist with A/V installations, inventory, and documentation of system configurations.
Required:
3-5 years of experience supporting corporate A/V environments, Zoom services, or related technical operations. Hands-on expertise with conferencing technologies, DSPs, control systems, and troubleshooting audio-visual incidents on Windows or macOS. Demonstrated experience packaging and deploying software using enterprise endpoint management tools such as Intune, Jamf, or SCCM. Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills, with a solid understanding of A/V signal flow, acoustic principles, and basic IP networking.
