Opportunity:
Robert Half is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join a growing IT team. This position will provide a mix of end-user support, workstation deployment, employee onboarding, and technology rollout assistance. The ideal candidate will possess strong desktop support skills, enjoy working directly with end users, and be comfortable handling a variety of technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide desktop and end-user support for employees across multiple locations Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and peripheral device issues Image, configure, deploy, and replace laptops and desktop computers Support employee onboarding, workstation setup, and equipment provisioning Manage and resolve support tickets while maintaining excellent customer service Assist with hardware inventory and asset tracking activities Support technology refresh initiatives and workstation deployment projects Coordinate technology-related tasks associated with office expansions, relocations, and operational initiatives Work closely with internal IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution Document technical issues, resolutions, and support procedures
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Desktop Support, Help Desk, or End User Support experience Experience imaging and deploying laptops and desktops Strong troubleshooting skills involving hardware and software issues Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and support requests
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with asset management and hardware lifecycle activities Exposure to project coordination, technology deployments, or office rollouts Experience supporting mobile devices and remote users
