Seeking a Field Support Engineer to support a Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration project at a pharmaceutical client site. The role will focus on workstation assessments, Windows 11 deployment, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess Windows 10 workstations for Windows 11 upgrade or replacement. Collect and document hardware, software, applications, and peripheral details. Build, configure, and deploy Windows 11 workstations. Install and troubleshoot software, drivers, hardware, and peripherals. Support data migration, backups, application compatibility, and network connectivity. Troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, permissions, and domain-related issues. Coordinate with vendors, infrastructure teams, application owners, and end users. Document technical activities, issues, resolutions, and project status. Follow SOPs, cybersecurity requirements, change controls, and applicable GxP practices.
Requirements:
3-5 years of IT Support, Desktop Engineering, Systems Support, or Infrastructure experience. Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and workstation administration skills. Experience with hardware/software installation and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Active Directory and basic networking. Strong communication and technical documentation skills. Ability to work independently in a 100% onsite environment. Pharmaceutical industry and GxP experience preferred. NIT01
