Could you be the full-time On-Site Support Engineer in Washington, D.C. (Ivy City), US we're looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your seasoned engineering and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the charge in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our rail services. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Industrial, Safety Assurance), overseeing the maintenance execution and suggesting optimizations, and much more. We'll look to you for: Executing maintenance tasks, both corrective and planned, and reporting technical anomalies, Coordinating on-site troubleshooting and maintenance activities to support trainset availability, Serving as the liaison with Sub-system Engineers and ensuring effective communication, Overseeing site maintenance and Process Improvement (PI) activities, managing maintenance improvements, Reporting any safety hazards to the Safety Assurance Manager and addressing technical issues for resolution, Optimizing testability of equipment both on-train and off-train, in collaboration with internal and external teams, Acting as the technical reference for maintenance execution, troubleshooting, and documentation. Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Experience or understanding of on-board equipment design, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, Knowledge of rolling stock warranty and reliability growth in the rail industry or a similar sector (aviation, etc.), Familiarity with team leadership and people management practices, Ability to train and support team members in technical and safety procedures, Leadership skills to coordinate and manage on-site maintenance and troubleshooting teams, Strong communication and reporting skills, Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred), Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment. Compensation:
