Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support for end users in a dynamic enterprise environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, and user account issues while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both Windows and Mac environments, managing Microsoft technologies, and working directly with employees and leadership to resolve technical challenges. Responsibilities Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral issues. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related problems across Windows and Mac environments. Manage and respond to service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation of incidents and requests. Perform system maintenance, including patch management, software deployments, hardware upgrades, and operating system updates. Support user account administration, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related access management tasks. Assist with endpoint management using Group Policy, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and other enterprise management tools. Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support reports. Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams when necessary and follow through to resolution. Configure, deploy, and support new workstations, laptops, and technology equipment. Partner with employees and leadership teams to provide high-quality technical support and ensure a positive end-user experience. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in desktop support, technical support, or service desk environments. Experience supporting both Windows and macOS operating systems. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and operating system issues. Experience managing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments. Working knowledge of Windows Group Policy and endpoint management solutions, including MDM platforms. Experience performing patch management, software updates, and system maintenance activities. Experience using ticketing systems to track, manage, and resolve support requests. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with users at all levels of the organization. Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with endpoint deployment and device lifecycle management. Familiarity with enterprise collaboration tools and productivity applications. Knowledge of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting. Experience supporting executive or leadership-level users. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
