To learn more about SmartPro Financial, visit smartprofinancial.com. Position Overview SmartPro Financial is seeking an experienced Support Team Manager to lead our operational support team. This position oversees Team Leads and their support staff, ensuring our financial advisors receive timely, accurate, and high-quality operational and client support. The Support Team Manager will play a key role in team development, process improvement, and advisor-facing communication while helping build a support structure that can effectively scale with our growing advisor base. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop Team Leads and their direct reports through coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing professional development
  • Oversee day-to-day support operations, including account setup, account activity processing, and advisor service requests
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex advisor and client service issues
  • Partner with compliance and operations teams to ensure support processes align with regulatory requirements within our broker-dealer environment
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows, efficiency, and overall service across the support team
  • Develop and maintain advisor-facing training materials, guides, and resources
  • Facilitate team development initiatives, including team-building activities and skills training
  • Monitor team performance metrics and service levels, adjusting staffing and processes as needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support firm-wide initiatives and priorities Qualifications & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services operations or client support, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management capacity
  • Familiarity with broker-dealer or RIA platform operations
  • Strong working knowledge of retirement account concepts, including rollovers, RMDs, SIMPLE IRAs, and general account servicing processes
  • Series 7 or Series 65 license preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear guidance for advisors and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; experience with CRM or portal-based systems is preferred Compensation & Benefits
