Job Description

Overview:
We are an established IT services company providing computer repair, networking, and tech support to a variety of clients. We are looking for a versatile IT professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in networking, including routers, switches, and VLANs, as well as a strong background in computer repairs, network camera installation and troubleshooting, and Microsoft 365 administration (Azure Entra). This role requires the ability to handle both onsite and remote tasks for multiple clients, ensuring their IT systems run smoothly. This job also requires onsite outside work installing cabling, switches, access points, and cameras, candidate must possess a level of mechanical skill and know how to use power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Networking & Infrastructure:
Set up, configure, and maintain networking hardware, including routers, switches, and VLANs, for various client sites. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity. Configure IP schemes, security protocols, and manage network devices remotely or onsite.
Network Cameras:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP network cameras at client locations. Diagnose issues with camera systems, perform routine maintenance, and ensure systems are functioning correctly.
Computer Repairs & Support:
Diagnose, repair, and upgrade computers (desktops, laptops, and workstations) both onsite and in the shop. Perform software installations, OS updates, and hardware repairs as needed. Provide technical support for various client IT issues, ranging from system performance to hardware failures. Microsoft 365
Administration:
Manage Microsoft 365 environments for multiple clients, including account setup, permissions, and troubleshooting. Administer and configure Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) for clients' identity and access management. Assist clients with the deployment and use of Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Server Management & Support:
Assist clients with Windows Server management, installation, and troubleshooting. Perform regular system updates, backups, and ensure server reliability for client infrastructures. Provide support for other server-based systems, including domain management and Active Directory.
Client Interaction & Support:
Provide onsite and remote support to a variety of clients, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of IT issues. Communicate with clients to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions. Offer professional advice and guidance on IT improvements and upgrades to enhance client operations.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including repairs, installations, and client interactions. Document technical issues and resolutions for internal knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications:
Strong experience with networking, including routers, switches, and VLAN configurations. Hands-on experience with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IP network cameras. Expertise in diagnosing and repairing desktop and laptop computers, including both hardware and software troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD). Experience managing Windows Server environments and providing server-side IT support. Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to clients in a clear, non-technical manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking certification. Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MS-500) or experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and other network security measures. Knowledge of additional IT management tools, monitoring systems, or remote access technologies.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry computer equipment (up to 40 lbs). Ability to travel to client sites within the service area as required.
Pay:
