In this role, you will be the frontline hero responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our organization's computer systems, networks, and hardware. Your expertise will ensure seamless IT operations, empower users with effective support, and contribute to a robust IT infrastructure. Duties Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Troubleshoot software problems related to applications such as Microsoft Office, Help Desk tools like ServiceNow and Jira, and management platforms like SCCM and BMC Remedy. Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals; perform upgrades and repairs as needed. Configure and maintain computer networks including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and network security measures such as Meraki devices. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Windows Server environments, Linux servers, and network administration tasks to ensure optimal performance. Support the deployment of operating systems such as Windows and macOS; utilize tools like SCCM for software distribution and updates. Assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues involving TCP/IP protocols, DNS resolution problems, or firewall configurations; escalate complex issues when necessary. Maintain detailed documentation of incidents using tools like ServiceNow or Jira; perform analysis to identify recurring problems and recommend solutions. Support the setup and management of mobile devices; ensure security policies are enforced across all endpoints. Collaborate with team members on IT infrastructure projects including network upgrades, server migrations, or security enhancements. Qualifications Proven experience providing IT support in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service skills. Solid understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience with operating systems including Windows (especially Windows Server), macOS, and Linux distributions. Proficiency in managing computer networks involving LAN/WAN configurations, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN setup, firewalls (including Meraki), and network security best practices. Familiarity with enterprise management tools such as SCCM for software deployment and updates; experience with BMC Remedy or ServiceNow is a plus. Knowledge of Active Directory administration, GPO configuration, DNS management, and network administration tasks. Ability to analyze technical issues quickly using strong problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills to explain solutions clearly to users at all levels. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco CCNA are desirable but not mandatory.
