IT & Technical Operations Specialist

Job Title:

IT & Technical Operations Specialist We're looking for a versatile, hands-on IT & Technical Operations Specialist to join our team in a full-time, in-office role. This is a multi-functional position where you'll serve as the go-to person for IT support, system improvements, technical troubleshooting, and various operational tasks across the company.

What You'll Do:

Provide one-on-one technical support to team members of all tech levels Set up and optimize systems, workstations, and digital workflows Help integrate and support AI tools (such as Grok) to boost team productivity Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues Assist with policy documentation, process improvements, and internal knowledge sharing Support simple engineering and technical projects as needed Train staff on best practices for digital organization and efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day IT support and desktop management Troubleshooting technical issues and improving overall digital efficiency Managing backups, Active Directory policies, and basic system administration Supporting firewalls, security tools, and networking Policy documentation and revision (strong writing skills required) AI tool integration and adoption support Taking on varied operational and technical tasks as the business evolves

Requirements:

Solid IT background with experience in desktop support, and troubleshooting Familiarity with Microsoft Domains, Active Directory, firewalls, security appliances, and backup solutions Basic understanding of networking, email routing, and the OSI model Basic programming/scripting knowledge is a plus Strong writing and documentation skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users English is required; Spanish is a plus Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Initiative-driven with a problem-solving mindset IT certifications (preferred but not required) Willingness to learn AI tools and modern productivity technologies Jack of all trades

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
