ITTECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for maintaining computer systems, installing hardware and troubleshooting IT-related issues, providing technical support to employees, managing network infrastructure, and working with vendors to ensure IT systems are up to date. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of information technology, including hardware, software, and networking.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting staff with hardware and software challenges
- Monitor network performance and maintain network security
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues reported by users
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings
- Ensure the availability of network resources and services
- Install and configure network hardware, such as routers and switches
- Monitor system performance and security logs
- Train users on new hardware and software
- Research and recommend new IT technologies and solutions
- Prepare company for external CMMC audit
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working in IT
- Experience in CMMC implementation and maintenance
- Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems
- Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Knowledge of Domain and Client/Server infrastructure
- Experience with network hardware, such as routers and switches
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Positive and professional attitude
