Description:
Trenam Law is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support to attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff working in the firm's downtown Sarasota office. This role ensures the reliable operation of computer systems, software applications, mobile devices, and office technology while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple support requests while maintaining confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user technical support via phone, email, remote assistance, and in-person at the Sarasota office. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, and mobile device issues. Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access using Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365. Support Microsoft Office applications, document management systems (including iManage), legal software, and other business applications. Document support requests, resolutions, and technical procedures within the firm's help desk ticketing system. Support conference room technology, video conferencing platforms, and audiovisual equipment. Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Requirements Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of Help Desk or Desktop Support experience. Experience supporting Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 applications including Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Exchange Online. Experience with remote support tools and help desk ticketing systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a deadline-driven environment. Experience supporting users in a law firm or other professional services environment preferred. CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or other relevant technical certifications helpful. Additional Details An on-site support role in a professional office setting with standard office equipment
Full-time:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch) Occasional overtime and after-hours on-call rotation are required
