Job Description
JECG SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR
(JOURNEYMAN) (USSOCOM, Tampa, FL) The successful candidate facilitates and supports SOF joint training and readiness events within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) by managing facility security and sustaining the networks, hardware, and software that enable classified operations. This position ensures that battle staff can conduct mission-critical training and readiness events without interruption. This position is contingent upon contract award.General Responsibilities:
Opens, secures, and monitors the SCIF. Troubleshoots and resolves Tier 0/1 IT issues. Coordinates with theUSSOCOM J6
help desk or authorized third parties for higher-tier support. Maintains hardware and peripherals, manages user accounts, and ensures software licensing compliance. Oversees system migrations, sustains audiovisual and communications systems essential to training, applies SCIF and DOW security standards, supports inspections and accreditation, and maintains system logs and configuration controls. Orients users on approved procedures. When directed, may provide technical mentorship supporting broader training readiness objectives by advising staff on system capabilities, scenario infrastructure requirements, and LVC integration considerations. All contributions remain strictly technical in nature.Required Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years recent, full-time Tier I / desktop support experience In-person end-user support experience in DoD, USSOCOM, TSOC, Service Component, or other federal enterprise environments Hands-on hardware and desktop support within last 2 years: troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, KVM switchboxes, and common peripherals; perform system decommissioning, user data backup, profile migration, and new workstation setup Enterprise account management: user account creation, access modifications, and deactivation; accurate inventory and service records; first-contact resolution via walk-up or ticket-driven support Knowledge of SCIF open/close procedures and controlled access environments; familiarity with SSO and Industrial Security coordination processes (can be gained in position) Software licensing compliance tracking, hardware/software asset inventory management Ability to travelSecurity Clearance:
