Description:

Job Summary We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems, and network-related issues while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Key Responsibilities Provide desktop support for end users across laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues. Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows workstations and related applications. Support enterprise software applications, including desktop, client-server, and web-based platforms. Assist with workstation deployments, upgrades, imaging, and equipment refresh initiatives. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN access. Support user account administration, password resets, and access management within Active Directory. Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures within the ticketing system. Escalate complex issues to appropriate infrastructure, network, or application support teams. Maintain a high level of customer service while supporting end users both remotely and onsite. Required Qualifications 2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience in an enterprise environment. 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications. Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and common end-user technologies. Exposure to Active Directory administration, including user account management and group policy support. Understanding of endpoint networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies. Experience supporting software applications across desktop, client-server, and browser-based environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies. Familiarity with endpoint management and device deployment tools. Experience working within an ITSM ticketing platform such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar. Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and security best practices. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Alpharetta, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
