The Application Support Engineering Intern is a hands-on operations position. As a member of our Application Support Engineering function, you will work closely with Sr. Application Support engineers and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure that our vast portfolio of over 170 distinct applications are continually functioning to expected service levels and reliability tools and automation are evolving to best support the needs of our stakeholders and customers. Your primary area of focus will be to contribute in building our AI Ops tools leveraging VS Code , Github and other tools as needed. What's In It For You?

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with architecture, software development, security, and DevOps teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Application Support solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and socialize Application Support best practices.
  • Develop and automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes to streamline software delivery and enhance system performance.
  • Manage and optimize the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of software updates.
  • Maintain Application Support tools to maintain vendor and security compliance.
  • Support Application Support tools performance to meet agreed upon SLAs.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data, systems, and applications.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Application Support, and proactively apply them to improve our development and deployment processes.
  • Proactively address issues and pursue improvements.
  • Document processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and support team members.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program in computer science, computer engineering, or related field. (Bachelors or Master's)
  • Eager to learn, develop solutions and passion for customer service and team success.
  • Ability to author, test, and iterate prompts/instructions; evaluate responses for accuracy, safety, and tone.
  • Hands-on with
Copilot Studio:
topics/intents, instructions, Generative Answers, knowledge sources, and actions via Power Automate/connectors
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., javascript , Node js , YML, Bash, Python, PowerShell) to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, Oracle Cloud, AWS including infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
