Preferred Experience Qualifications:

5 years experience working in large-scale project management, computer networked environments, and/or multiple hardware and software platforms Required Administrative technology project experience and/or asset management experience

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting the Information Management and Technology Division's implementation of technology capital projects within the district and supporting the strategic initiatives for the initiation, planning, and scheduling of resources assigned to projects. Additionally, supports IT Asset Portfolio management for tracking the Life cycle of IT assets and computer software. Support the Business and Resource Management

  • Capital Projects initiatives with day-to-day communications across the district to Technology & Innovation team leads, local school technology staff, and the purchasing and property warehouse for project integration, deliverables, and other issues as defined.

Provide support of Business Resource Management (BRM) capital projects management that consists of managing and updating equipment and service schedules for classroom technology, school-wide AV, video broadcast, and other assigned areas for the district. . Process, schedule and assign capital project orders and timeliness associated with School Technology retrofits. Support the Software compliance efforts for Business and resource management for all phases of Software Asset Management. Analyze vendor licensing models and cost scenarios of alternative options to determine optimal licensing and deployment strategies. Knowledge and experience supporting software audits. Support district software license renewal process. Experience with vendors including Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Oracle and others to interpret software license agreements to determine necessary compliance with licensing metrics. Provide support of vendor management as required to expedite and resolve concerns regarding product-service delivery and adherence to current Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Research, review, and respond to customer inquires in an accurate and timely manner. Provide contentious updates regarding technology orders across the District. Provide support to ensure the district's project management protocols are followed as set forth by the Project Management Office (PMO). Manage and facilitate Technology Catalog items through appropriate means to ensure the catalog is up-to-date with required materials on-hand for deployment. Reconcile monthly budget reports for Capital projects. Perform other duties as assigned.
