- Under general supervision, acts as the liaison between the Information Technology Group (ITG) and the Library. Consult with the appropriate parties within ITG and the Library to connect, adopt, and support the technology. Provides services and support at the Library Circulation desk and IT Help Desk.
- Assists with campus-wide IT support services, including satellite locations of the campus.
- Works with faculty, staff, & students in assuming responsibility for the operation of the technology (computer hardware & software, scanners, printers, video projectors and other peripheral devices).
- Performs installations, regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on microcomputers, printers and peripheral devices.
- Maintains records of activities, collects assessment data & performs assessments to help improve service(s) to the campus.
- Follows and implements directives and guidance related to best practices from University of Hawai'i System Information Technology Services.
- Ensures the consistent adoption, implementation, and enforcement of recommendations issued through University of Hawai'i System Information Technology Services.
- Keeps abreast of recommendations issued through University of Hawai'i System Information Technology Services and takes timely action as needed.
