Job Description

Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Project Engineer to lead product development from initial concept to full-scale production. This is a high-impact role where you will act as the "connective tissue" between engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and our external partners. As a Project Engineer, you aren't just tracking tasks; you are the driver ensuring our technical goals align with our business objectives. You'll need to balance big-picture strategy with a meticulous eye for detail, fostering a collaborative environment where cross-functional teams thrive.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership:
Develop comprehensive product requirements, schedules, and milestones that exceed customer expectations.
Execution & Coordination:
Manage internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
Problem Solving:
Proactively identify root causes and execute contingency plans to keep projects on track and within budget.
Operational Excellence:
Apply modern PM tools and techniques to manage NRE hours, tooling, part costs, and test expenses.
Technical Documentation:
Oversee BOMs, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and all project-critical documentation.
Communication & Reporting:
Facilitate weekly cross-functional meetings and present monthly project health reviews (schedule, cost, and risks) to senior leadership.
Process Adherence:
Champion the client process , ensuring all requirements are documented and verified.
Hands-on Contribution:
Depending on project scope, provide direct engineering support and analysis as a member of the technical team. What You'll Bring to the
Table Educational Foundation:
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or General Engineering.
Proven Track Record:
At least 3 - 5 years of Project Management experience within a technical or manufacturing environment.
Technical Roots:
Previous hands-on engineering experience spanning the full lifecycle—from concept to production.
Influence & Collaboration:
Exceptional "soft skills" with the ability to negotiate and drive results across teams without direct reporting authority.
Software Proficiency:
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent PM software.
Agility:
