IT Help Desk Intern (Part-time)

$22.00 per hour
Hours:
M - F 20 - 24
hours per week Take your career to the next level with us! R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (R.M. Chin) is seeking dedicated candidates who are eager to learn with a desire to grow their Information Technology career with CHIN. This position allows for the potential to move into a full-time role.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Network Administration , or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of IT support, networking, hardware and software systems, troubleshooting skills.
Tools Knowledge:
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and macOS.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot IT issues and learn quickly from real-world challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day IT operations, ensuring smooth system performance. Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate tech issues that impact employee productivity. Assist with the deployment of IT solutions to improve internal systems. Contribute to project work related to hardware refreshes and software upgrades. Document and maintain IT processes for easy access by the IT team and employees. Support cybersecurity efforts.

Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and systems, with a willingness to expand knowledge on new tools and technologies.
Adaptability and Learning:
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to an evolving work environment.
Communication:
Ability to convey technical information to non-technical staff.
Customer Service Focus:
Providing friendly, professional, and effective support to internal users.
Job Offer:
