Job Description

We are looking for a customer-focused Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to serve as the primary point of contact for technical support in Illinois. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys working independently in a visible support role, and can deliver a high level of service across a Microsoft-based environment. The right candidate will combine hands-on troubleshooting skills with strong organization, ensuring end users receive timely assistance while keeping equipment, software, and support records well managed.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming technical issues, providing attentive and responsive support to end users.
  • Troubleshoot desktop, software, and basic application problems within a Microsoft environment, resolving issues directly or escalating when needed.
  • Manage and update support tickets accurately to ensure clear communication, proper tracking, and timely follow-up.
  • Install, configure, and support standard software and workstation tools for employees across the organization.
  • Maintain documentation related to common issues, support procedures, and technical inventory to improve service consistency.
  • Oversee asset availability and communicate with leadership when equipment or supplies need replenishment.
  • Provide initial support for business applications, including low-level troubleshooting for tools such as Business Central.
  • Assist with device and endpoint management activities, including work involving Active Directory and Windows 10 systems.
  • Contribute to mobile and endpoint administration efforts where Intune knowledge can support the team's broader IT operations.
