Technical Support Specialist III (Senior)
Job Summary:
As a Senior Technical Support Specialist, you'll address the most complex technical challenges, providing expert-level support and guidance. This role encompasses system administration, advanced troubleshooting, and mentoring junior staff, driving IT infrastructure improvements and strategic departmental goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. 7+ years of relevant experience in technical support, systems administration, or a related field, including 3+ years in a senior role. Expert knowledge of IT infrastructure, network systems, and cybersecurity practices. Strong leadership and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve advanced technical issues involving IT infrastructure and complex environments. Manage server and network configurations. Mentor junior technical support staff. Lead IT projects from planning through execution.
Relevant Certifications:
CompTIA Security+: Validates baseline cybersecurity skills. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP): Recognizes advanced information security skills.
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate:
Focuses on managing cloud services in Azure. VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV): Demonstrates expertise in VMware vSphere environments.
Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate:
Prepares for roles in cybersecurity operations.
Requirements and Benefits:
