Job Description
- Position Overview
- We are seeking a customer-focused Help Desk Support Technician to provide technical support for end users across a variety of hardware, software, and enterprise technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365 applications, and core infrastructure technologies while delivering excellent customer service.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for end users via phone, email, chat, and in-person assistance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
- Support and maintain Windows 10 and Windows 11 workstations.
- Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and other Office products.
- Create, manage, and troubleshoot user accounts, permissions, and group memberships within Active Directory and Azure environments.
- Support Microsoft Exchange and email-related issues, including mailbox access, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Perform device imaging, deployment, configuration, and replacement activities for desktops and laptops.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues involving DHCP, connectivity, VPN access, and related technologies.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices.
- Document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate support teams when necessary.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining strong communication with end users.
- Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support role.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365/O365 applications and services.
- Knowledge of Active Directory user and group administration.
- Experience with device imaging, deployment, and workstation setup.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange administration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Azure and cloud-based Microsoft technologies.
- Basic knowledge of DHCP and network troubleshooting concepts.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to endpoint management tools and device deployment solutions.
- Microsoft certifications or relevant technical certifications are a plus.
