The IT Specialist Senior•Networking will provide Tier 2/3 network support, troubleshooting, and optimization across enterprise infrastructure, with a strong focus on Cisco networking technologies. Networking:
Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise network infrastructure Install, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot IT and networking systems Troubleshoot and optimize Cisco routers, switches, and related network equipment Support enterprise routing and switching infrastructure Perform advanced troubleshooting of IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and related networking technologies Support network upgrades, new installations, and infrastructure modernization Perform Tier 3 troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management Support IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLAN, VPN, and NAT environments Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure network operations Integrate enterprise, regional, and local IT systems while maintaining network availability Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity and performance issues Support network recovery efforts following outages or service disruptions Document network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, system changes, and technical solutions Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and other technical stakeholders Provide technical guidance and support to junior IT and network personnel Qualifications for the IT Specialist Senior•
Networking:
7+ years of IT experience; 10+ years preferred Active Secret Clearance Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise networking equipment Experience providing Tier 2/3 network administration and troubleshooting Strong understanding of enterprise routing and switching Experience with IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, and NAT Experience with IP, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise network protocols Experience supporting network upgrades, installations, and infrastructure integration Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification CCNA certification required Microsoft certification preferred; waiver may be considered CCNP, CCDP, MTA, MCSA, or MCTS certification preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and cybersecurity teams Compensation for the IT Specialist Senior•Networking includes:
