This role is focused on becoming highly knowledgeable in our software systems, troubleshooting customer issues, guiding users through solutions, and ensuring a positive support experience through clear and professional communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, patient, and enjoys problem-solving in a customer-focused environment. Success in this position comes from developing a deep understanding of our software, business workflows, and support processes while becoming a trusted long-term resource for both customers and internal teams. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys becoming highly knowledgeable in a specialized software environment, values consistency and process-driven work, and takes pride in serving as a reliable resource for customers and team members alike. Responsibilities Complete a structured 6-month training program to develop a strong understanding of the software, workflows, and support procedures. Provide customer support via phone and email with clear, professional, and step-by-step guidance. Troubleshoot software issues, identify configuration concerns, and document findings accurately. Assist customers with operational questions related to point-of-sale processes, inventory, invoicing, accounting workflows, and system functionality. Collaborate with internal and external resources to resolve issues. Participate in software testing, validation, and review processes for new updates and enhancements. Prepare and review customer-facing communications related to software updates, troubleshooting, and process recommendations. Maintain accurate documentation, ticket updates, and internal notes for customer interactions. Develop strong product knowledge to serve as a reliable resource for both customers and team members. Participate in an after-hours support rotation upon successful completion of training. Qualifications Experience in software support, customer service, help desk support, or a related role preferred. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general business operations is preferred. Experience within the tire, automotive, or retread industries is considered a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and professionally. Excellent troubleshooting, research, and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes accurately. Ability to remain organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced support environment. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-first mindset. Ability to learn complex software systems and apply knowledge consistently in day-to-day support scenarios. Work Environment This is a full-time position working closely with a collaborative support team in a professional office environment. Team members are expected to actively participate in training, customer communication, and ongoing product knowledge development.
